Among the rapid development is the move towards the use and reliance on technology to engage in daily activities. Although such developments can be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic at the face value, many would agree that the changes have been long coming years before the pandemic. Such developments can be largely linked to the 4IR, which has drastically impacted how we do things. What the pandemic has done, however, is to speed up some development which was already brought to motion by the 4IR.
